Farfars tystnad

In 1917, just before the Russian revolution, a geological expedition left Finland in the hope of finding gold in the remote region of Urjankhai, in todays republic of Tuva in Russia. The grandfather of the journalist Ingrid Svanfeldt, Eric Lindén was one of the expedition member’s in 1917 and in 2013 his son Carl-Johan Lindén and Ingrid Svanfeldt, decide to travel in Eric Lindén’s footsteps to the southern Siberia region. Farfars tystnad is a 45 minutes long radio documentary by Ingrid Svanfeldt for Yle Vega.
